"So,
go on, " she urged, "tell me what's really in there." The
man gave her a filthy look and turned his back on her. She switched the
polisher back on and continued on up the corridor muttering about bad
manners. The man waited until she'd gone and then turned towards the container.
"Coast is clear," he said to two men who were hiding behind
the container. Chuck took a few steps back from the edge of the skyscraper's
roof and smiled as he caught sight of his reflection in a skylight window.
Underneath his black coat, he was wearing a black polo and black trousers.
His eyes were hidden behind black sunglasses and a black, remote earpiece
rested snugly inside his ear. Even his hair was black! "Shame my
favourite colour is grey!" he thought. The cool night wind whistled
through the gigantic buildings and across the rooftops, whipping the dust
into small swirling clouds that disappeared into the fading daylight.
